After spending her formative years reading fashion magazines voraciously, Avis Cardella found her calling writing about fashion, photography, and culture. She has written feature articles, essays and news stories for  British Vogue, American Photo, WSJ.com, Oprah.com, Qvest,Surface, and Glamour UK among other publications.

She has appeared on NBC's Today Show, New York's LX Television with Joan Rivers, AOL's Wallet Pop, Australia's Today Tonight,and numerous international radio shows.

She lives in Paris with her husband.
